Holiday in Italy and have the best of both, but where to start!

So many wonderful places to chose from. Hike through the Tuscan countryside, lounge on the golden sands of the Tuscany coast, en route to Florence.

My favourite destination is going to be Venice, overlooking a sparkling lagoon Venice is a beautiful city and just mention the name and a romantic scene of a ride on a gondola come to mind. A visit to the island of Murano to see all the wonderful glass is high on the to do list as well as visiting the many galleries and museums. A visit to the Guggenheim modern art collection is a must.

Rome, the capital of Italy, the Colosseum , the Pantheon and the Catacombs are all World Heritage sites, so don't forget to pack your walking shoes!

The famous Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps, the Piazzo del Campidoglio by Michelangelo, majestic piazzas and modernist architecture all await you on your visit to Rome.

Ah and the shopping!!! That would be off to Milan for many many many designer boutiques, Gucci, Dolca and Gabanna, Armani, Gap and did I mention my favourite Gucci!!

Did you know there are factory outlet stores in Milan?, no I did not either, but I will let you do the Google search on that one!! Enjoy!

Check out P&O Cruises they have some superb cruise packages at very reasonable prices.
